About Janelle

Hi! I’m Janelle, owner and photographer here at Janelle Reule Photography. I believe that people are created to use their unique abilities and passions to bless others... and photography is mine. Photography has always been a part of who I am. Even as a young girl, my room was lined with picture frames showing off photographs I had taken of the people and moments that meant the most to me.

I officially started my photography business in 2012 and have been learning and growing ever since. When I decided to pursue photography full-time, I didn’t know exactly where it would take me, but I’m excited to be living out my dream. I love what I do and I work really hard at it. My goal is to tell your story as naturally as possible with a style that is relaxed and real.

I live in Marion, Iowa – that’s right – corn, cows, and the Iowa Hawkeyes! When I’m not working, I can be found spending time with my wonderfully supportive husband and my two sweet girls. In addition to family and photography, a few more loves of my life include: coffee, wine, Friends, board games, Christian fiction, and sand volleyball.
