Here's how the process works from start to finish...
-You inquire (you can reach out via the contact page, email, or Facebook!)
-We converse and choose a date and time
-I email you a contract & invoice
-You sign the contract and pay the non-refundable booking fee in order to secure your session (all done online... so easy!)
-After the session is booked, we talk location and wardrobe
-Remainder of payment is due 24 hours before the session
-We have a fun, relaxed session capturing a mixture of both posed and candid images
-Proofs with light edits will be sent to you in an online gallery within one week of the session
-You star the images you want (with the option to purchase more than what's included in your package)
-Fully edited images will be delivered online within three weeks after you've chosen
-You download your digital images and have the option to purchase prints or products through your gallery

what should we wear?
I always schedule sessions as close to sunrise or sunset as possible, with 1 hour before sunset being ideal! This ensures beautiful and flattering lighting during the session! The timing of a downtown/urban session can be more flexible, as the buildings cast plenty of open shade, which also makes for great lighting! I usually shoot for midday for in-home sessions, but they can be done anytime during the day as long as there is good natural light.

how do we choose a location for our session?
-Help prepare your children for the session by making it sound fun! The more stressed you are, the more stressed they will be.
-Don't threaten them, bribe them! If you do well during the session we will ___________, we'll buy ___________, we'll eat at ___________.
-Allow me to work with your child. Sometimes they do better one-on-one. If I need help I will certainly ask. In this case, please stand directly behind me so they are looking toward the camera.
-In order to keep faces, teeth, and clothing clean, I ask that you don't offer food or colored drinks during the session. Leave them in the car and use them as incentives.

how can i get my children to cooperate during the session?
I offer mini sessions on certain dates, and they are set up back to back. I do not offer mini-sessions as part of my regular packages.
I do run specials occasionally, when I want to try out a new technique, location, or prop or when I want to grow my portfolio in a certain area!
